BEST’s first customer at IPA 2010 Mr. Riza Akça, Sales Director of Osman Akça

Mr. Riza Akça, Sales Director of Osman Akça, gave us the honour of visiting our booth at the IPA fair in Paris this month. This processor, one of the most important players in the raisin industry in Turkey, is a BEST customer since the beginning. He is in fact our first customer ever. In 1997 he bought the first LS9000. After 13 years, Mr. Akça is still using the sorter, as well as some other sorters to remove stems, stones, foreign material and discolorations out of the raisins. He has installed 2 more LS9000 sorters, 2 ARGUS sorter, a Helius free fall sorter and 2 IXUS X-ray sorters in his factory.
This customer is the perfect example of a company who uses existing sorters and upgrades them with the latest BEST technology for optimal results to constantly guarantee the quality Osman Akca’s customers deserve. We want to thank Mr. Akça for his continuous trust in BEST and the nice relationship we built together.
