Working
Principle
The Ixus Bulk x-ray sorter provides you with
the safest solution for food products before they reach
the consumer. The Ixus scans products in bulk, in order
to detect defects which could be potentially dangerous for
the consumer. Metal wire, pits, glass, small stones or bones
are detected by absorbing more x-rays than fruit, vegetables,
etc., creating a clear contrast between the good product
and the foreign body. The Ixus detects foreign materials
thanks to the density difference and rejects them with air
valves which considerably limit the false reject. Of course,
the Ixus is developed with low power generators especially
for the food industry. This machine can either be used as
complementary sorting equipment or as a standalone machine.
The Ixus sorter is user-friendly, easy to integrate and
has a high resolution vision system.
