Colour and structure detection

LED sorters are based on LED technology. Infra-red and red wavelengths are highly effective for differentiating non-vegetable matter in a product stream. Defect removal is done with pneumatic flaps or air valves. The MAT series has proven to be an extremely cost effective way to remove foreign objects from green beans and corn. The removal of these unwanted defects and foreign materials results in improved quality and lower operating costs. With a MAT installed, you can reduce the need for human inspection of green beans and corn, decrease damage to processing equipment, reduce additional sorting later in the process and improve overall plant productivity and product quality.
